The Tech Partnership

Student Alumni Mentoring

Mentoring has helped me greatly as I navigate the early stages of my career in approaching difficult topics from a new angle, challenging the way I think about problem solving and helping me to shape what I want to be working towards in my career. Having the views and experiences of senior leaders and peers is invaluable.

Student-Alumni Mentoring

Alumni Network

Are you a current Tech Partnership Degrees student or alumni? Join the Tech Partnership Degrees Mentoring Scheme, developed by alumni of the IT Management for Business (ITMB) degree.

This student - mentoring programme is a unique opportunity for Tech Partnership students to get one off mentoring with an alumni on what you want, when you want. No long term commitment, just one adhoc mentoring session that aims to help you with what’s on your mind and could be the start of growing your network

The scheme offers support for current students that want to develop their skills, build confidence making connections and connect to individuals that have been through their course. Launched at the Tech Partnership South Event in March 2017, the scheme has offered one on one mentoring for students in a number of areas:

  • Communication
  • Dealing with change
  • Impact & presence
  • Networking/building relationships
  • Time management
  • Career paths
  • Starting a business

With over 3,000 alumni, with many now progressing rapidly through their careers, this unique scheme enables alumni to give back to the programme and offer valuable advice to students of all year groups.
