The TechFuture legacy – invitation to submit proposals

We are now inviting proposals from UK charities and not for profit organisations with an interest in taking forward the TechFuture portfolio. Download the prospectus now for more details. Deadline for submissions is noon on 31st January 2018.

Following the announcement of the Tech Partnership’s closure in 2018, many organisations have expressed an interest in ensuring an ongoing legacy from the company’s TechFuture portfolio of TechFuture Classroom, TechFuture Girls and TechFuture Badges  and TechFuture Ambassadors.

Used by 1,300 teachers, these industry-supported student resources benefit 10,000 young people a year, by inspiring them about technology and helping them to fulfill their potential in a digital world. They have been created with significant investment from employers over many years, and employers are very keen for students to continue to benefit from this into the future.

We are now inviting proposals from charities and not for profit organisations with an interest in taking forward the TechFuture portfolio, and in a position to grow its reach and impact. Proposals are requested by the end of January, and the new home for this work announced by the end of March.

A short prospectus with further information is now available, setting out key questions proposers may wish to cover and the criteria that will be used to select the successful party. Innovative approaches and new ideas about how to make the most of these assets are encouraged.

For further information, please see the prospectus The TechFuture Legacy – an invitation for proposals (PDF) and the Questions & Answers to date.

Please contact us on legacy@thetechpartnership.com if you are interested in putting forward a proposal so that we can provide links to relevant materials.

Proposals must be received by noon on 31st January 2018.
