Cyber Security Skills

With cyber crime on the rise, ensuring the UK has the cyber security workforce it needs is now as vital as ever to keep business and citizens safe. But despite this increasing demand the number of young people entering the sector remains low. That's why the Tech Partnership is committed to inspiring young people about cyber security and developing their skills through its TechFuture and Tech Industry Gold programmes.

  • Apprenticeships

    Apprenticeships

    Two brand new cyber security apprenticeships are now available from this year: Cyber Intrusion Analysts, who work in Security Operations Centres where organisations' information systems are monitored and defended, and Cyber Security Technologists who protect systems from cyber threats, hazards and risks.

    Degree Apprenticeships

    The Digital and Technology Solutions degree apprenticeship, launched in September 15, includes cyber security as part of the core curriculum.  Cyber Security Analyst is also one of the six specialist options students can choose.
